The best leaders invest time on personal growth. One element to personal growth is taking time to listen to audio content: audio books, teachings/lessons, and Podcast episodes. Harry S. 1. This is a great list, Dan. Like Floyd, I’m not a podcast guy either. I think if I had to commute I might, but I live three minutes away from my work. That and I’m moving more toward creative works. I have to wonder if podcasting is a trend though. I think the amount of leadership podcasters has increased tenfold in the past couple years.

  2. Thanks for including Dose of Leadership on your list! So grateful; love your blog and we need to get you highlighted on the show!

  3. Dan, I am honored and beaming with joy to be included on this list. Leaders in the Trenches has been an amazing experience. I don’t use the tag line much…but it is “conversation with leaders for leaders”. Thank you so much.

  4. I listen to a couple of the podcasts you mentioned there but a few I’ll have to check out. One you didn’t mention that I really love is Al Mohler’s podcast, “The Briefing”.

  5. I listen to: Andy Stanley Leadership Podcast, Gene Hammett’s Leaders in the Trenches Podcast, Michael Hyatt’s This Is Your Life Podcast, The Entreleadership Podcast, The Ray Edwards Podcast, and Erik Fisher’s Beyond The To Do List Podcast. I would add the Catalyst Podcast as one others should checkout.

  6. Hi Dan,

Thanks so much for sharing this list of podcasts. I just love listening to personal development material in the form of audio, especially when I’m driving.

    Thank you.

  7. Thanks, Dan, I love listening to podcasts and a few of these are new to me. Beyond the To Do List is one of my favorites. I’m also glad Jon mentioned Catalyst because I used to listen to that and enjoy it, but couldn’t remember the name of it so haven’t been able to listen to it lately! I also like the FitBeliever podcast with Laurette Willis. She has some great interviews. I also listen to the Smart Passive Income podcast sometimes, which I enjoy.

  8. Looks like a great list. I haven’t had the chance to check out any of them. I’m way too busy to get into any podcasts at the moment. In fact, I don’t really listen to any podcast at all. I’ll probably check out one or two of these that spark my interest. Who knows, maybe I’ll get into one.

    • I understand about being busy, I listen to more audio books than Podcasts. You should check some of them out when you get a chance. Thank you for reading and commenting.

  9. One I’d add to the list is not ostensibly about leadership, but gets at it tangentially – and often powerfully – is Econtalk with Russ Roberts.
