Success Requires Hard Work

If you want to accomplish greatness then it requires hard work. Nothing worthwhile is accomplished without it. All great companies and organizations have been built because of the leader’s working hard. Hard work requires energy, time, strength, endurance, longevity, and doing things you might not like. Maybe this is why a lot of people resist working hard. It is easy to be lazy and complacent which is why leader’s need to resist those behaviors. One of the greatest hindrances to working hard is laziness. Here is a Proverb that describes this roadblock,

“As a door turns on its hinges,
so a sluggard turns on his bed.
A sluggard buries his hand in the dish;
he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth.
A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes
than seven people who answer discreetly.”

Avoid being a sluggard and lazy because it will only close the door to your success. Choose to work hard at whatever you do. Do what others are not willing to do, because success and greatness only come to those who are willing to work hard. So choose to work hard. Are you willing to work hard to be successful?

Question: How are you intentional about working hard?
