Those are good ones, I think I like the one by Lincoln the best.

I think one of the Proverbs would be some of my favorite growth quotes. “Wisdom is more precious than all the gold.” and “Give what ever you have to in order to gain wisdom.” (paraphrases)

Thank you for reading and sharing Floyd. The Proverbs are full of insights and wisdom.

lol, “I don’t want to grow up I’m a Toys ‘R Us kid.” Sorry that was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this post.

Honestly, growing up is tough. When we’re kids we can’t wait to be adults and now that I’m an adult I miss my childhood (certain parts).

    Life was simpler then.

“Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.” – John Maxwell

These are all great quotes! It made me think of Jesus explaining the pruning of the vine. We grow as a result of trials and tribulations in life – if we choose to. Growth can sometimes be a painful process, but it is always worth it!

Great example and passage. Thank you for sharing it Susan.

    Good quotes, Dan.

One of my favorite personal growth quotes comes directly from the lips of our Lord Jesus: “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing” (John 15:5 MSG). Awesome, isn’t it?
