I have already shared with you some of my favorite leadership quotes and today I would like to share with you some of my favorite success quotes:

“Success is a journey, not a destination.” ~Ben Sweetland

“Success is, knowing your purpose in life, growing to our maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others.” ~John Maxwell

“A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.” ~ David Brinkley

“Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” ~Winston Churchill

“In order to succeed, you must first be willing to fail.” ~Anonymous

“The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes.” ~Benjamin Disraeli

“Seventy percent of success in life is showing up.” ~Woody Allen

“If at first you do succeed try not to look too surprised.” ~Anonymous

“Success is simple. Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.” ~Arnold H. Glasgow

“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” ~Mark Victor Hanse

Question: What are some of your favorite success quotes?

I really like this one: “If at first you do succeed try not to look too surprised.” ~Anonymous

It’s a good one. Glad you liked the quotes.

I like the one by Winston Churchill the most. It’s interesting that success is to a person what they strive for across their life. I think our modern culture is far to hung up on the material things of this life and measure success by what they accumulate along the way… never realizing the legacy they leave will be measured by what their definition of success was.

      Floyd,

Totally agree with you. A lot of people think success is having more stuff when it fact it’s not. Thank you for reading and adding to the discussion.

I like that Anonymus one – not looking too surprised if you don’t succeed at first :) .

    Some of my favorites are

    “God loves using small people”

“God can do a lot with one man who has faith & no strength, than with twenty who have strength and no faith. ”

“God has a plan for you (& you alone) and the only way it will come to pass is if you learn to be comfortable with being different”

    by your’s truly :)

Great post. I will clip it evernote!

Great words of wisdom Ngina. I really like, “God can do a lot with one man who has faith & no strength, than with twenty who have strength and no faith. ” Thank you for sharing them.

I like them all! I have learned that sometimes what is success to me is abject failure to some others. For them, I pray patience; for me I just give thanks.

Here is a quote that I live by Dan. Love these that you have here. Absolutely awesome and inspiring.

To attract attractive people, you must be attractive. To attract powerful people, you must be powerful. To attract committed people, you must be committed. Instead of going to work on them, you go to work on yourself. If you become, you can attract

Quotes are useless without results – but they can certainly remove mental cobwebs and force upon you some much needed mental clarity. With that said, recently – I have enjoyed this one:

“It is our failure to become our perceived ideal that ultimately defines us and makes us unique. It’s not easy, but if you accept your misfortune and handle it right your perceived failure can become a catalyst for profound re-invention.”
    ― Conan O’Brien, Dartmouth College Commencement, 2011

Thanks for sharing and stopping by Dilanka. Great additional quote.

So true, the key to success is to start and keep moving. Thanks for reading.
